Professor Ar. Aparna Surve is an alumnus of Sir JJ college of Architecture and has completed her Masters in Industrial Design from IDC (Industrial Design Center), IIT, Mumbai. Prof. Surve has 25 plus years of experience in the field of Architecture and Design. She has executed Urban design projects such as Kala Ghoda Art District, M G Road Flora Fountain, etc. along with architectural and various interior design projects. Her deep interest in education has led her to head architectural Institutes of repute viz. NMIMS – Balwant Sheth School of Architecture as the Dean and Aditya College of Architecture Mumbai in the past. She has extensively taught in Mumbai, Bangalore and Goa, as a visiting faculty for the past 20 years. Prof. Surve has authored books for
‘Signage & Street Furniture for the City of Mumbai’, published by Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai in 2002. The designs & guidelines prescribed in these manuals have been executed by the MCGM throughout the City of Mumbai ever since. She has received MMRDA’s mmrhcs’s grant for Preparation of Heritage Signs & street furniture for the MMR region. Prof Surve has received awards and accolades to her credit for her contribution to the Architecture and Design practice and education. Few of them are - She is the recipient of Society Interior’s Award of Excellence in Professional Practice & Education, and the Nomination for 'BEST DESIGN INITIATIVE and CITIZEN’s participation', by Indian Architects & Builder

Mr.S.V.Chaudhari is an Architect practicing in and around Mumbai. He also an academician and actively involved in academics for almost 20 years. He was the Principal of D.Y.Patil college of Architecture for almost 14years.

Sameer is an Architect with pan India and international professional experience; after his post graduation he has worked in Los Angeles and New York with award winning firms. He brings his professional experience into his teaching and interaction with students fostering an overall interactive learning environment. Sameer maintains a balance between his professional practice and teaching, both of which compliment each other. He believes all architects must take the initiative to mentor students and share their professional experiences to bridge the gap between academia and professional world.

Amrut specializes in the use of non conventional building materials and technologies like earth and bamboo. Contextual and culturally sensitive design is one of his primary concerns, both in practice and his teaching methods. His other interests include reading, travel journaling, sketching, and organic farming.

Dinesh Zope is an Architect and IGBC Accredited Professional with over 16 years of experience in field of Architecture and Interiors.
During his professional tenure he has worked extensively in the trade ranging residential and commercial interiors, Slum redevelopment, Mass Housing, Green Building Certification along with Hospitality and Institutional Projects.
An alumnus of Sir J. J College of Architecture, Mumbai he has done his Masters in Environmental from Rachana Sansad’s Academy of Architecture, Mumbai.

Anita Shyam is an Architect and Urban Planner with over 13 years of experience in professional consulting and research in the urban planning and public services sector.
An alumnus of Sir J. J College of Architecture, Mumbai she has done her Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, (CEPT University) Ahmedabad.
She was associated with CEPT University on PAS Project (Performance Assessment Systems), as a Research Associate on service level benchmarking, performance assessment and improvement of urban services in the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. Her consulting assignments include various urban planning and infrastructure projects.

Anil is an Associate Professor working in School of Architecture since 2016 . He received his master degree in Structural Engineering from the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belgaum, India in 2001.Anil received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Nagpur University in 1990.His Area of Interest is Analysis and Design of Civil Engineering Structures. He is pursuing Ph.D in Civil Engineering from Amity University Mumbai. He had published 11 research paper with one patent.
