DAY 8- Transitional Curriculum of ASU for F.Y. B. A. M. S.

School of Ayurveda, DY Patil Deemed to be University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, had organized Transitional curriculum Ayurveda for FYBAMS students from 8th March 2021 to 26th March 2021.

DAY 08- 18th March 2021 Thursday.

Session 1:

Lecture 1: Communicative English

Time: 9.00 to 10.00 a. m.

The first session was conducted by Ms. Mansi Jawale Madam, Assistant Professor, in Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, D. Y. Patil University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. In this lecture, madam has emphasized the importance of communication skills in our profession. Madam focused on points, personality development by communication skills.

Lecture 2: Biodiversity and ASU.

Time: 10. 00 to 11.00 a. m.

The resource person for the session Dr. Shraddha Nayak madam, Associate Professor in the department of Dravyagun Vigyan, School of Ayurveda, D.Y. Patil University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. She emphasized on Introduction of Biodiversity especially its relation with ASU in India. Madam has discussed the habitat of different Indian medicinal plants.

18-03-21 -games and activities

Lecture 3: Language, Vadatu Samskritam. Time: 11.00 am to 12.00 noon

The resource person for this session was Respected Dr. Sunil Kumar Bhargav sir, Expert in Samskrit, (M.A. B.Ed., Ph.D. in Samskrit). In this lecture, sir has introduced Sandhi vishleshan Prakar. He has given appropriate examples of sandhi and sandhivigrah to students.

Lecture 4: Yoga and Meditation. Time: 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm

The resource person for this session was Dr. Pratik Patil sir, Associate Professor in the department of Swasthvritta and Yoga, School of Ayurveda, D.Y. Patil University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. He has given the introduction of yoga and meditation to students. he has emphasized on the importance of Yoga in day-to-day life.

Lunch Break

Time: 1.00pm to 2.00 p.m.

Lecture 5: Lecture from an eminent person in ASU- Importance of Samhita to learn Ayurveda.

Time: 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm

The resource person for this session was Dr. Mohan Joshi sir, Professor, Department of Samskrit Samhita Siddhant, Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune.

Sir has basically motivated the students to read original Samhitas to learn Ayurveda. So Students can understand the importance of Samhitas. Also sir has explained reading of Samhitas is very much necessary for the learning of our subjects.

Lecture 6: Games and Activities Time: 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm

Games and Activities were conducted by Dr. Yogita Mandale and Dr. Anupama Awate and associated with our council students. Logical games were conducted to improve the innovative thinking of students. Activities have taken which also introduced some basic principles of Ayurveda.
