On the 30th of October, the Department of Public Health Dentistry, D. Y. Patil University School of Dentistry, organized an Oral Screening and Awareness Camp in conjunction with The Rotary Club of Ghatkopar.
The camp was held at Z. P. School, Murbad and a total of 252 subjects of primary school-going ages were effectively screened for oral health issues and dental caries and proper demonstrations of brushing and flossing techniques were taught to them. The team left for the venue at 8:30 am and spent the whole day examining the subjects.
This initiative was executed by Dr. Sneha Khanapure (Lecturer, Department of Public Health Dentistry) and her team of 3 interns (Urvashi Shah, Rebecca Satish, Roshika Unnikrishnan)
Another job well done for the department of Public Health Dentistry as they spread oral health awareness amongst the masses!
