The Department of Public Health Dentistry in conjunction with CIDCO had organised a dental camp for diagnosis and awareness at 5 airport affected villages.
The first of the camps was conducted atUlve Village, on 2nd March 2016 wherein 216 patients were examined. Demonstrations were given to all the primary and secondary school children and instructions were given on how best to take care of their oral health.
A similar camp was conducted at Targhar Village on 9th March 2016 wherein 65 patients were examined.
CIDCO officials and helpers from CIDCO ensured the smooth running of the camp.
A pharmacist was present who ensured the distribution of medicines to the needy.
The response of the villagers to the camp was positive.
