Teacher’s Day Celebration
‘Great teachers are the reason why ordinary students dream of doing extraordinary things’
This day we commemorate our teachers and thank them for the wisdom that they have bestowed upon us .We take this opportunity to honor the gifted souls, who work every day to make sure that our futures are bright.
This year, Teachers day at D.Y.Patil University, School of Dentistry was celebrated with great pomp and gusto on the 10th of September 2018 by the Interns batch 2018-19. It was organized in the Dental Auditorium where an interactive and fun filled program was arranged for the teachers and the event was followed by lunch.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and was followed by the Induction Ceremony for the new STUDENT COMMITTEE for 2018-19. This was succeeded by a high octane ‘Retro’ themed dance extravaganza organized by the Cultural committee.The program had interactive and fun games and challenges organized for the teachers that ensured that there was never a dull moment.

Each staffmember was then given a personalized goodie bag with some select tidbits and each department was gifted a personalized calendar.
The program concluded with balloon bursting for the staff and a cake was cut by the Honorable Dean Dr. Omkar Shetty and the various Head of Departmentsto celebrate the occasion.
