Overview of the Program

The School of Education was established with the objective of providing excellence in teaching, training and research. The School prepares competent graduates by providing distinctive and high quality educational experiences and maximizing hands on exposure. The students thus trained, are placed in prestigious institutions  through campus recruitment .In addition to providing active placement support ,the students are given mandatory curricular inputs to help them prepare for competitive test like TET,CTET,MPSC,UPSC.The school in its continuing effort attempts to develop good research orientation among teaching fraternity through various programmes and by organizing workshops, conferences and seminars at National and International level.

Eligibility

(a) A candidate should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree/Master Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce of any other university recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) with at least marks decided by the State of Maharashtra and NCTE time to time.

OR
(b) Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics of any recognized university with at least marks decided by the state of Maharashtra and NCTE from time to time. He/she should have at least one school subject at the first and/or second degree level as principal/subsidiary/allied or optional subject. (School subject means the subject included in the syllabus of Secondary/Higher secondary level in the Maharashtra State).

(c) The reservation and relaxation of 5% in the total marks will be given to the candidates belonging to S.C. / S.T. / V.J.N.T. / OBC/PWD and other notified categories as per the Maharashtra State Government Rules.

  • SSC ,HSC,Graduation and incase if any other qulification attested four xerox copies of each marksheet,certificate and degree certificate,ADHAR Card /passport/Domicial.
  • Gap certificate should be in original along with three xerox copies (if any gap is there between last exam and till the date of joining B.Ed.),TC/Leaving Cretificate ,Migration three xerox along with original , gazzate along with affedavite if any change of name which candidate don’t want to continue as per degree .
Grading System

After adding the internal marks (maximum 30%) to external marks (maximum 70%), the marks secured by a student from maximum 100 will be converted into a letter grade. The grade points are the numerical equivalent of letter grade assigned to a student in the ten points scale.
