Road Safety Awareness Campaign-2015

As part of a state level road safety awareness drive initiated by the Maharashtra State Traffic Police, D. Y.  Patil University observed  the ‘Road Safety Awareness Month’. The campaign was organised to initiate awareness about the number of road-accidents, their causes and their prevention as well as the importance of following traffic rules. It showcased the various ways in which students, staff and the general public can be informed about road safety. The month long campaign saw host of inter university competition like that of Street Shows, Poster Making Competition, Public Talks and Lecture, Debates, Artistic Display etc. in which the School of Education had the most sizeable contribution.
 The campaign was instrumental in bringing down the number of casualties that the City of Navi Mumbai sees at an annual level thus ensuring the School be specially felicitated and recognised at the hands of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Ji Fadnavis in Nagpur.
