Case Study- Importance of Co-ordination and Communication of Front Office Department with Other Department

On 9th Sept 2019 DYPU- SHTS organized a Front Office Case study session for F.Y BSc students in the theory classroom. The case study session was organized by Assistant Professor Aarti  Pandirkar at SHTS. The session began with a brief introduction to the case study and the importance of case study as a part of the curriculum for the students. The students were given the Front Office case study scenario handouts a week prior to the case study session and were asked to come up with a suitable and effective solution for the given scenario.

Students shared their feedback stating, ‘this case study session was very interesting & it made them understand that co-ordination & communication is the key to manage all the functions of a hotel.’ Asst. Prof Aarti also shared a few of her experiences from her stint at the hospitality industry. Asst. Prof Aarti Pandirkar organized this case study session on behalf of DYPU- SHTS. Overall the session was very informative and the students would like to attend more of such case study sessions.
