MORDE CHOCOLATE WORKSHOP 2017 AT D.Y.PATIL UNIVERSITY’S SCHOOL OF HOSPITALITY & TOURISM STUDIES

Chocolate has become one of the most popular food types and flavours in the world, and a vast number of foodstuffs involving chocolate.
Particularly desserts including cakes, pudding, mousse, chocolate brownies, and chocolate chip cookies.  

     

DYPU SHTS took the initiative to engage our students in MORDE WORKSHOP to gain there knowledge IN THE FIELD OF CHOCOLATIER AND CONFECTIONS The event was held on 30th of JAN 2018 FROM 12PM TO 3PM at ATR(Advance Training Restaurant).

 The Menu for the chocolate workshop event were:

  • INTRODUCTION OF MORDE PRODUCTS

  • GOOEY CHOCOLATE CAKE

  • EGGLESS WALNUT BROWNIE

  • MOULDED CHOCOLATE

  • CHOCOLATE ALMOND FUDGE

  • DUET CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

  • CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE CAKE

  • CHOCOLATE GARNISHES

 Wefirst started with the introduction of Mr Sudhir Nair and Chef Bonny Pereira, Chef and a representative of Morde chocolate.He spoke about Morde products, chocolatesand its varieties. And then he started with his work shop.

 Students from FY B.Sc., SY B.Sc.,TY B.sc, culinary, craft course, and 1 year diploma, had attended this event. As the event was in progression students were clearing their doubts by asking questions and solutions on chocolate preparations They had a healthy one on one conversation with Chef wherein all the doubts were cleared by chef. Students were very excited and curious to see the magic of chocolate.

 We were on Facebook LIVE as well as we were taking live recording of the workshop. At the end of the session the students even tasted the cakes and the chocolate garnishes prepared by the chef. The Guests were very happy and they have invited us to see their plant.
