Pizza Making Workshop

D.Y.Patil University School of Hospitality & Tourism Studies organised a Pizza Making workshop for the students on 13 March 2018. The workshop was conducted by Chef Sachin Shinde, who specialises in the art of Italian Baking and Patisserie. With more than two decades of experience to his credit, Chef Shinde is revered across the entire industry for his finesse and exemplary skills in Italian cooking.


Chef was extremely happy to interact with our kids and asserted that he is impressed to see how knowledgeable our students are at such a novice stage . He really appreciated the college for imparting such quality par excellence education to the students. During the workshop, chef prepared Tomato Cheese Pizza, Chicken Pesto, Mushroom Cheese, Cheese Peperoni, Chicken Bechamel and many other varieties of Pizza. Chef Dinesh Kamble co-ordinated and organised this workshop on behalf of the bakery department of the college. 120 students participated in this workshop.
