DY Patil University School of Hospitality & Tourism Studies conducted virtual session on –Career in Bakery and Food Production, for the First year students of B.Sc on 29th March 2019 in the premises of the university. The speaker of the session was Chef Avinash Jaguste, a trainer and counsellor with an experience of decades in hospitality and retail industry. Chef started his career with Taj Sats, Future group and is currently working with Retail Company Garzzo pvt Ltd.
Chef Avinash Jaguste started the session with importance of food Production and Bakery in hospitality and various career options in retail industry. Students also interacted with him and asked for guidance to choose appropriate retail industry as a career option. He also advised students to develop attributes like punctuality, discipline, dedication etc. and set goals for themselves. The virtual session was organised by Chef Vijay Sawant on behalf of School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies.There was a positive feedback from the students; they said this session gave insight of retail industry which is very useful for their career growth.
