SHTS conducts virtual session with Chef Abhishek Botadkar!
D.Y.Patil University School of Hospitality & Tourism Studies organized a comprehensive virtual session on Trends & Scenarios in Food Production’ for T.Y.B.Sc. Hospitality Studies students on 15 April 2019. The session was organized by Chef Nikhil Kedar , Assistant Professor , Department of Food Production at the college. Chef Botadkar spoke at length about the emergent trends in the realm of kitchen and asserted that it is essential for all industry aspirants to be abreast with these trends. He gave insights from his own experience and explained to the students that there is no substitute of hard work in order to achieve success.
He shared numerous situations that he came across in his decade long stint in the industry and clearly depicted to the audience the different methods, new inventions that he had to adapt in order to sustain himself. The students were extremely happy with the session and found it comprehensive as well as informational.
