The GUEST LECTURE was attended by 77 students.

OBJECTIVES

– To showcase Family Managed Business Aspects

– Through storytelling, use as to what aspects in entrepreneurship students should develop going forward and how they should develop it.

GUEST LECTURE CONTENTS

Point1: As successive generations assume control of family firms, they will display less Proactiveness  Proactiveness is also indicative of a forward-looking, opportunity-seeking perspective. It suggests both vision and leadership in launching business ventures.

Point 2: As successive generations assume control of family firms, they will be more risk-averse. The overall objective is to defend gains previously made and maintain a strong presence in the marketplace.

Point 3: As successive generations assume control of family firms, they will develop a stronger family orientation.

Conclusion:

The session conducted was a very interactive session. The session was concluded by the vote of thanks given by the Guest lecture committee coordinator

OUTCOMES:

After completion of the session, students learned various concepts. The session was understood well by the students and it helped them in their entrepreneurship building & preparing them for their future life.
