Seminar on “How to Sell a Brand called ME”

A seminar named “How to Sell a Brand called Me?” was held in DY Patil Deemed to be University, School of Management on 31st January 2019. It was the very first interactive session organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell, DY Patil Deemed to be University, School of Management. This session helped in finding a purpose, exploring oneself, and utilizing personal powers to become a happy and successful individual, both, in the walks of a career as well as life. This workshop was taken by Dr. Poonam Ganu and Ms. Bhavana Ganu.

Dr. Poonam Ganu Kage is the Founder of Roller Coaster EdutainmentTM and also a mompreneur coach. She has done her MA and Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology from SNDT University. She has done a Diploma in Pre-primary teaching from The American TESOLTM Institute. She graduated in Psychology from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She has done her Management Studies from KJ Somaiya. An intensive survey was studied and analyzed by her on motivation mapping for people working in various corporate houses.

Ms. Bhavana Ganu, with Xavier’s Institute of Communications as her alma mater, has worked with some of the remarkable names of the industry like Viacom 18, Shaadi.com and Rediff PR, to name a few.She was also an Executive at Infomedia Ltd. She is the co-founder of Roller Coaster Edutainment, content designer,life coach, and she has also conducted events on subjects like sanitation and hygiene management.

Together, Dr. Poonam Ganu Kage and Dr. Bhavana Ganu have founded Roller Coaster EdutainmentTM Pvt. Ltd., a foundation to nurture children right from a very fundamental stage to make them confident, happy, and successful by developing, in them, a strong value system.

In the session that lasted for about an hour, both the speakers spoke about personal branding under the title of “How to Sell a Brand called Me?”

As it explains the students as to how to keep oneself in front of people like interviewers or evaluators etc. It also enlightened the students about elegance, gesture, and communication skills etc. A short video about the story of LEGO and how it was built over a long period of time, was shown to the students and, it gave a message to them of “Never Giving Up!”. As the attendees for the event are concerned, the crowd was of 150 students from both, BBA and MBA. After the event, all the students were asked to fill a feedback form about how their experience.
