Our Honorable Chancellor believed in a dream and through dedication and perseverance, both individually and collectively led to the introduction of the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai which is one of a kind as it is not just a stadium but a place built with great passion where memories are made, stories are told, sports and various other activities are promoted that shape the culture at DY Patil University. The DY Patil Stadium has hosted various sport tournaments like IPL, ISL, FIFA- U-17 World Cup, International ODI and T20 matches and has been graced with the presence of some of the renowned artists during concerts like Hardwell- Charity concert, The Justin Bieber Purpose World Tour, Guestlist4good a social cause with Hardwell, aW&W, Nucleya, Adnan Sami, Shaan, Mithoon, KillTheBuzz, Suyano, Aditi Singh Sharma, Armaan Malik,The U-2, the famous Irish rock band Performing live.

The Stadium not only has hosted such events but believes in providing an holistic experience for the players, artists and the audience by catering to their healthcare needs as well. The Medical Team headed by Dr. Rahul Peddawad (CEO DY Patil Hospital ) and Dr. Ketan Pakhale with key officers Dr. Arham Peerzada, Dr. Krittika Bhatia, Dr Vidyadhar Wadkar consists of medical stalwarts with expertise in their field, The Nursing staff, Administration, a lot of helping hands from the DY Hospital and enthusiastic volunteers from the DY Patil School of Medicine.

The team holds periodic meetings, training sessions and discussions in order to determine the role of each member , plan the locations of First Aid rooms , Emergency exits and positioning of Cardiac and Non- Cardiac Ambulances followed by which is a mock drill session before each event to make sure the execution guidelines are well understood by the members in case of an emergency. This provides a feel safe environment for the players, participants, guests , audience etc. This team is dedicated and abides by the vision of our Hospital – ‘ Compassion Care Cure ’. Looking forward to serving people and being a part of  many more such opportunities making the experience at DY Patil Stadium a delightful one.
