On occasion of World Stroke Day, the department of Neurophysiotherapy, School of Physiotherapy, D. Y. Patil University organised a seminar on Post Stroke Rehabilitation at D.Y.Patil Medical College, Nerul on 29th October, 2018 from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
Eminent professionals from the field of Neurophysiotherapy graced the occasion as resource persons and shared their experiences and expertise on various aspects of Stroke Rehabilitation. Dr. Vimal Telanggave an insight on ICF and Functional Goal Setting in Stroke Rehabilitation.
Our ex faculty and a neurophysiotherapy specialist Dr. Asmita Karajgi gave a talk on Importance of Trunk and Core in Stroke Rehabiltation.
Dr. Amruta Nerurkar enlightened us on Being mindful of the mind: Psychological Principles in Rehabilitation.
The seminar received a positive response and was attended by graduate and post graduate students of D.Y. Patil School of Physiotherapy, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. It proved to be a great learning experience for both students and staff members.
