At RAIT, the students are nurtured such that they develop the roots to remain well grounded. They are also taught to develop their wings in order to fulfill their dreams to conquer new horizons. This is a paradoxical combination which has led to great success stories. These success stories have been possible due to the active role played by the training and placement department of the institution and well organized support from the management. The organization has always had a career development system in place and finding the right job for the right person has been the foremost priority. The results of this consistent effort can be seen in the number of recruitments that takes place from RAIT. It has the highest number of campus recruitments in the Mumbai region next to IIT and NITs . Recent years have seen above 95% of our students placed in reputed MNCs at the highest starting salaries. Our students also tend to get the best feedback from their employers.
The Training and Placement Department provides active assistance in researching prospective employers and in the interviewing, resume creation, aptitude training and networking skills that are essential to make the best match. It is a matter of immense pleasure and pride that our students are able to make a choice of employment even before they graduate. Our task is to make it possible. Students begin working with the Training and Placement cell in their pre-final year at the college. They take advantage of career development offerings such as aptitude training, softskills workshops, technical skills and various program tie ups with industries, self assessment exercises that help them understand their strengths and weaknesses. They also undergo career counseling sessions.
The Training and Placement Department organizes recruiting events on and off campus for large number of reputed organizations each year, including Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Chase, Reliance Jio, TCS, Ericsson, LnT Infotech, ZTE, Mahanagar Gas, Infosys, HCL Tech, Tech-Mahindra , Atos india, Indian navy, Schneider-Electric and the list is endless. The recruitment year kicks off towards the start of the final year, when companies descend upon RAIT to make pre-placement presentations about their organizations as well as to recruit the students.
All the students are also informed through this platform that, 60% in 10th, 12th or diploma and Engineering (aggregate of all sem), is a must to become eligible for the campus recruitment process. So start to build your profile from first year itself. Also spoken and written communication in English is of the prime importance as it is a business language across. An ability to code and develop projects before final year, will be highly advisable to all the students.
