Program

A Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science program focuses on the investigation of simulated crime scenes as well as the collecting, handling, and analysis of evidence for the purposes of criminal investigations. It is about Introduction to forensic science, Introduction to toxicology, behavioral science, crime and socio -Cultural and psychological factors, Introduction to criminology.

Forensic Science courses are a field of Science that studies the examination and gathering of information or evidence for the investigation of crime using scientific methods. Forensic Science courses are based on scientific disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Forensic Science courses curriculum that focuses on the investigation of simulated crime scenes as well as the collecting, handling, and analysis of evidence for the purposes of criminal investigations.

BSc Forensic Science is a three-year graduate course that focuses on the application of scientific knowledge to criminal investigations. The main focus of the Bachelors of Science in Forensic Science is on crime-lab-based occupations. Essential components of the BSc Forensic Science syllabus include Forensic Pathology, Psychiatry, Psychology, Forensic Medicine, and Odontology (Dentistry) and candidates can also pursue one of the options such as career as Psychiatry, career as Psychology, career as Odontology amongst these BSc Forensic Science subjects.

Refund
Rules

  • 100% fees will be refunded if the admission is withdrawn within one month from the date of admissions taken or as per the applicability of the cancellation policy, Only INR 2000/- will be deducted as administrative ApplicationForm cost is non-refundable.
  • No fees with the refunded in case the student withdraws admission post onemonth of taking admission to the
  • Please note that a handwritten application letter stating the withdrawal has to besubmitted to the Admissions Office along with the Original Fee receipt which is given to the student at the time admission OR the student can write an email to refund@dypatil.edu
  • Refund process will be initiated only after filling and submitting the completedNo-dues form to the Centralized Admissions Office. The amount will be creditedto the beneficiary account within 15 to 20 working

Cancellation
Policy

Every candidate is entitled to a window period of 30 days in which full refund is applicable oncancellation. (INR 2,000/-) are deducted on account of admin charges.

For Undergraduate Admissions:

For students who secure provisional admission before the declaration of class XII results, their window period commences from the date of declaration of class XIIth result of their respectiveboard. For students who secure admission after the declaration of class XIIth result, their window period commences from the date of depositing the tuition fees.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF THE LECTURES COMMENCE BEFORE THE EXPIRY OFTHE WINDOW PERIOD NO REFUND WILL BE APPLICABLE. NO REFUND WILL BE APPLICABLE AFTER THE WINDOW PERIOD IS OVER.
